Delivery Information
Standard delivery is free of charge within the UK, but is to the curbside only. If you have not included our professional installation option, you will need to make your own arrangements to move the safe to its final location.
Safes are delivered direct from Burton Safes by courier.
If delivery is required to upper or lower floors, please select the delivery quote option to request a quotation for delivery.
Most safes are held in stock with our supplier, however, some specialist safes may be made to order and carry a lead time of 4-6 weeks. If delivery will exceed 5 working days, we will contact you with an estimated lead time and an option to cancel with a full refund.
Delivery and Installation
The delivery and installation price is based on a ground floor installation, which does not include steps. If you require delivery and installation to an upper or lower floor, please select the delivery and installation quote option.
Installation is provided by a qualified locksmith.
Cash Ratings
Cash ratings are only a guide and assume correct installation.
Insurance companies' ratings vary. Higher or lower figures might be applied. If it is important, check first with your insurance company.
Note: A safe's jewellery rating is typically ten times the cash rating. For example, a cash rating of £1500 is equal to £15000 jewellery cover.

Please note that all weights and dimensions are approximate.
Warranty
Burton Safes offer a 3 year warranty in respect of materials and workmanship.
Please note that Phoenix safes and products carrying the Keyguard Security logo, carry a 1 year warranty.
Returns
In the unlikely event that your goods are faulty or damaged, please contact us within 7 days, via our contact form, for return instructions.
You can expect a full refund or exchange of faulty goods.
Please note that we can not accept the return of goods which have been deemed faulty as a result of self installation or misuse.
If you wish to return a safe which is not faulty, the return may be subject to a restocking charge of up to 15% plus 2.5 times delivery.

Our payments are processed by WorldPay. This is a completely secure payment method. We do not ever see your credit card details.
Once you have successfully submitted payment, you will receive an automated email to confirm that we have received you order and payment has been taken.
Our website provides an online order tracking facility. To track your order, simply enter the order number you were provided with, in the automated confirmation email.

You can specify an alternate delivery address during our checkout process. If there is no one available to receive your delivery, a card will be left for you to re-arrange the delivery at a more convenient time.

You have seven days cancellation period after you have received the goods. Unwanted goods, excluding safes, can be returned providing that they are in a re-saleable condition and unopened in the original packaging.
Although we are happy to refund the cost of goods, we are unable to refund outward or return carriage, unless goods are delivered damaged or faulty.
All items, excluding safes, carry a one year warranty unless stated otherwise within the product description. The warranty does not include batteries or damage caused to the product by misuse.
Please note, we do not accept any liability for loss or injury incurred whilst using our products. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
